Characterizing Switching System Outage Durations

چکیده
This paper focuses on how the system behavior of highly reliable telecommunications systems can be characterized with respect to the distribution of outage durations and the escalating recovery mechanisms implemented in the system. We develop models that can be used to predict the outage distributions and identify measures that are required for a stable system.
